Breakin' my girls out of the hospital! |
Standing in the Gap. This blog is about our little girl Aly Mae Michelle and her fight for life. She was diagnosed at 18 weeks in the womb with a rare birth defect called an occipital encephalocele and the rest of the story is in the blog.

What A Week!
What a week it has been. Born on Monday, brain surgery on Wednesday and discharged on Friday!! That's right.....Christi and Aly are out of the hospital! I cannot imagine having a fuller week than this past week. So glad to have my whole family home in West Monroe.

Ya'll are such a great example of trusting in Christ. It was a blessing to see ya'll able to walk into church Sunday. Still praying for you all.. She is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI hav been reading this blog through and through. We have a little girl on the way and she as well has an occipital meningocele. I am 23 weeks along and I am constantly worrying. This blog is so uplifting, and I am so happy that Aly did so well. How is she doing now? I do not know anyone who has traveled this path, so I would love to get some feedback on the road you are all traveling. My email is jlp082184@yahoo.com; I would love to hear how Aly is doing.
Thank you,
Jill
